Give Me Reason by Zoey Derrick doesn't need to give you a reason to read this excellent book she has written. As you start to find out Viv's story and how her life has been in childhood to how it hasn't changed much in her adulthood it makes you keep turning the page. Having a not so close relationship with her mother as a Mr. suit walks into her life at her crappy diner job he seems to turn her life towards a new direction. Although she hates how he tries to take care of her but its much needed in her time of need. Her pregnancy from her previous abusive boyfriend, Riley. As Mr suit continually tries to be in her life after he finds out she is pregnant, Give Me Reason has you turning the page to understand what the connection between these two is and how she will make it as Riley is released on bail. This book gets inspirational towards the end as you see how she is starting to becoming a very strong individual.
